They contact people at random and try selling them stocks just like in the movie Boiler Room? I can't imagine anyone actually sending them money.

i don't know why people send them money, i assume anyone calling a scamer, or someone I don't want to do business with.

Well people do it everyday, and the sad part a lot of times it's the elderly who cant afford it.
It's stupidity for sure, but they fall for it .
Ill stick to investing from my bank, at least I get some of the money :kez: not much.
Thinking about some silver in my portfolio, I wish I invested years ago in it.

Yes, it is often the elderly these creeps prey on.

I did buy some silver a few years ago....I wish I had bought more.

I need warm, I hurt from the cold, and wet. It would do you all well also, it's been going on a bit long now.

It's been a long harsh winter, but there's nothing new about that in Edmonton. Makes me wish I was on a beach in Phuket, Thailand.

We had a good day Friday here, was a nice day to do stuff outside. I worked on a flowerbed some :)
I was hoping for more good days, I feel better, and can get some stuff done.

Working on the flowerbed eh? The snow in my backyard is about a metre deep, so that will be about 5-6 weeks away for me.

Glad to hear you are feeling better though. I wish we had a longer growing season because it is one of the most relaxing activities for me.

I have to take advantage when I can to get stuff done, since December I have been pretty much down with migraines daily, and unable to do much.
Ill love getting my garden out, and I'm going to try something different this year to see if I get batter plants.

This was just emailed to me from a friend in thailand who knows Asia very well as he has been there for 20 years and speaks fluent Thai and Khmer

MASS MURDER

those friendly thais that would never heard a fly at it again

there have been so many of these MASS MURDER STORIES

ie putting 90 southern muslims in tractor trailer truck and then suffocating

them all to death

or so many Burmese shot in the head while already in police custody

or so many of the Burmese muslim refugges ships attacked and sunk by the thai navy

to mention

well here is another one thai land of smiles government is helping to exterminate

the Karen people of mae hong son

Re: Thailand

Post: # 36392Unread post Gary Oak »

This also was sent from this same friend. I have heard from other sources that at Thai hospitals they will really try to bleed as much cash out of a tourist as possible

the rip off that is thailand

in many cases like blood test checking of vitamins I think the price is even more

expensive than

the usa

what the fuck is the point to pay 2000 usd for the plane ticket

oh and hotels as you cant stay at your home to come here in those cases

oh and there is almost zero chance of you winning a malpractise suit

that is one reason you fail to see why the costs in the usa are high as

they pay a lot for malpractise insurance

oh and you have no idea at just what level the doctor you have is at

did he thru corruption pay money to get that degree?

if you ask any real doctor in the west they will tell you you are making a mistake

as the quality is just not sure

well that is definelty what they say whether it is 100% as they believe you are getting

sub care or that they don't want you to leave the usa I don't know

but that is the thing Thailand medical it just aint cheap at all

and you constantly use the American example

well if you are going to do this then I will use the Canada example of medical care

IT IS 100% FREE

but have waiting lists depending on where you live

so then Thailand is infinetly more expenisve option

and what you don't realize is that there are many more people that don't live in the usa

but live elsewhere where the hospital prices are very different than the usa

I just don't understand why constantly the only example of medical care costs we

are allowed to use is the usa

it is like the only example that Thailand medical defender can use

as if they start using other countries examples the story would be very different

medical care which was Malaysia

as I did have a quite good and HONEST doctor in kuala lumpur

that is something else for dam sure their are way more scams in Thailand than

Malaysia so the chances of you getting cheated at a thai hospital are way greater

fuck that one and only time I went to bumrungrad all I did was ask to itemize bill

they flat out refused to do so

hmm

oh to add one place that we should not be going to for medical care is the philipines

as to many scams

and perhaps avoid india

I did see some documentary on indian medical and many of the doctors have zero

qualifications at all

having just bought a medical coat and thru corruption just bought fake diplomas

of course you could find some qualified doctors in india

I guess you would need a recommendation first as to which doctor

but back to Malaysia

the cost is further half and the quality just as good but

I think better as Malaysians the education system is way higher than Thailand

and know onto Vietnam I first got this tip on the place for medical from MRI

technician both myself and New met in phnom penh

he was somehow his company setting up some MRI equipment in phnom penh

and when I did tell him about Malaysia prices which were like at most half of Thailand

for even better quality

he suggested I try Saigon

as he was definetly correct about MRI prices being even cheaper than Malaysia

I cant comment on quality of MRI in Vietnam compared to Malaysia

but the cost at perhaps 2100 baht fuck that is worth it to try

that dipstick dane I was training on the backpain paid 25 000 baht was it he told me for

his is simple shoulder MRI at I think he said Bangkok hospital

that is over 10 times the price

he agreed he was ripped off and said had he known it would have been so much

he would of just had in Denmark to which even if he had to pay it would of been slightly

cheaper

that is thing there are many hidden added charges to medical care in Thailand

ie facility charges, doctor charges, fuck bumrungrad even charged you paolo

50-100 baht for used medical gloves that they appareantly had not charged over 1 year ago

I believe the reason that people come to thailnad for medical is they are just plain stupid

and Thailand is living off its past as the price for all medical like 12 years ago was just

25% cost of what it is now

if I got my hands on every single person that was headed for bumrungrad and the money

was coming out of their pocket and showed them where in kualu lumpur they could

get the exact same for half price I am sure they would switch if they had a brain in their

head

but that is thing with Thailand it seems to attract so many complete morons

like a super magnet for either hard core criminals or clueless wonders of the planet

and places like cambodia for dental that I found that root canal and ceramic crown

all 13 visits just 100 usd total - 3000 baht

compare Bangkok price I was quoted of 14 000 baht at my own dental place

I didn't have the money and will never go back

fuck I am not happy about what happened at my Bangkok dentist office

as I just went in for routine work they open up tooth and then announce

ah we need 14 000 baht to proceed to finish the job as you know need

root canal and crown

so I was left with a open wound which I didn't hav the money to fix

and then later on when got to dentist in Cambodia could fix

but the infection had spread quite a bit in the meantime

thanks Thailand

that was why I needed 13 visits to get this infection under control

so I was to be charged 4.5 times the price in Bangkok compared to phnom penh

what kind of a wouldn't if they had the chance take the Cambodia option if I did mention it to them in phnom penh

of note Cambodia is great place for dental as many of those dentists were trained abroad

BUT for medical I would say no no no as so little real equipment available

so few hospitals

even in phnom penh there are really so few available

but maybe there are blood tests cheap I don't know I have to do more research

BUT for medical also Vietnam which has a population of 90.4 million and they are

investing in equipment BUT don't know the scale of the investments

perhaps if you do research you can find something great too

fuck just 2100 baht for a MRI and I have 3 recommendations now on Saigon for

a positive experience with MRI

if I needed another MRI I would either go back to kualu lumpur or probably I would

take a slight gamble and head now to Saigon

I really wonder what kind of prices I could get on blood work in Saigon that can be

research project for yourself oh and what I can find in cambodia

another research project

Top Cop Punished For Not Lying About Refugeee Camp Arson

Post: # 36601Unread post Gary Oak »

http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/3 ... timization

Here is what that friend in Thailand emailed me

this one below says a policemen that says the fire was no accident was transferred from

his position cause he refuses to cover up that the fire was a accident

what the fuck really goes on in Thailand

Thailand is really just a 3rd world hell

and yet so many clueless wonder foreigners come to Thailand and like every single

time I say something about what is Thailand it is met with I am wrong

it is so strange as there is large mass of clueless wonders like in blind love of Thailand

that Thailand can do no wrong

and yet I just don't find clueless wonders in great numbers in other countries in the

region

ie there is no Cambodia blind lovers club

ie there is no Malaysia blind lovers club

take alook at a the 2nd link at just how big that fire was

those dead bodies look like pompei volcanic eruption

I can easily see why the probably thai army droped something like napalm from the

helicopters on the village

as Thailand is way to nationalistic

and all invaders must be destroyed

there are so many examples if I had to find I could give

oh one other to add did you hear a few years ago about the westeners that

was giving out human rights brochures to one of the hill tribe villages up

around chiang rai

he was arrested and deported for his crime of human rights brochures
