I am just finishing a book on home brewing and these beer facts are interesting

Well i have 5 gallons brewing in my room right now. I want to try brewing mead with my bees honey. I also want to learn how to make wine and in partular dandylion wine

Just look on Youtube, there is a lot of great info on there about making it.
I don't drink, but interested in the process, and watched many of them.

I just put the wort into the second fermenter. It doesn't taste good yet

I think after that you can add some fruit, or other stuff to flavor it to your taste.
Home brew is really healthy stuff if you don't over do it drinking the stuff, and the alcohol content isn't that much.

I just transfered the wort from the secondary fermenter back to the first fermenter and added a bit of dextrose and half a cup of sugar. It will be bottling time soon

You can add flavoring now cant you ?

I suppose I could , artificial flavourings are not for me. some beers are flavoured with things like spruce tips

I'm not talking artificial, talking like apple slices, or other fruits, herbs even.

Those Egyptian pyramid builders must have loved to go to work. Four litres a day per person sounds like a good time for all. They certainly knew how to inspire their workforce.

They are recorded as having the first strike also all over beer rations.
Beer was a food staple till the last 100 years, it was safer to drink than water, and healthy unlike today's brew.
