I have never been to a Walmart. There are no walmarts here.

My mom shops there a lot Fashion, and other people I know well off, and not so well off.
There is nothing wrong with it at all really, don't let our complaining get you down.

Maybe I am a little too sensitive about this Mr Blue Frost..

A lot of people think I am unfit for shopping there, but if I felt I was putting my family's health in jeopardy I would not do that.

Most people who shop at Wal-Mart are perfectly normal everyday people. I don't think anyone is seriously trying to accuse you of being otherwise.

But you have to admit that if you spend any kind of time in Wal-Mart, you are bound to see some of the creatures we have been talking about.

Ms Renee, I do not think I am some kind of creature because I shop at Walmart..

The Walmart store I shop at is a cultural mosaic just like the city of Calgary itself.

Of course you aren't a creature, that's what I was saying.

I guess Wal-Mart in Canada doesn't attract the same kind of person that are commonly found in some of the US Wal-mart stores. That's a good thing.

Walmart shows a good part of society under one roof, and being it has lower prices than most stores the poorest, and sorriest come in numbers.
We that go there just get the honor of seeing the freak show like it or not.
Ours in my area is surrounded by apartments, and trailer parks, really ran down ones at that.
Nothing wrong with shopping there really, but it could be better if some people had some pride in themselves.

I don't care where people choose to spend their money. They earned it and they can spend it where they wish. People with more disposable income should understand that people with less money have fewer choices to spend their money than they do.

With walmart it's really smart home financing, why pay more down the street right.
That's the issue here though, we are in a low income area getting lower all the time thanks to our darn Mayor, and past mayor.
You get to better areas the walmart's have better people in them, or better dressed anyhow.
I'm speaking for ours here, it's nasty.

I would be interested to know how you and Renee feel about Target? How do they compare to Wallyworld? They have only been in Canada about 2-3 months now.

I like target, but they are a little higher in price, a little better quality.
We have had Target here for a long time, it was Airways before.

I like Walmart's prices, but I disagree with their business practices. I must confess that I still shop there on occasion, but I always feel guilty.
