Constantine put his priests who believed Jupiter was the leader of their pantheon in charge of this Catholic church when Constantine decided to make the Roman empire Christian. They pray to Mary among many other differences.

The worst thing is they put a man up to speak for God, and lord over all Christians. There is no scripture that tells to do that, and even St John spoke against it when they tried to put Peter up for that part earlier on.
The Catholics was formed just for control from the beginning, and they did control the Roman world, and beyond for a long time..

Rome actually did become Christian when the Vandals took over the empire as they were Christian. Somehow Catholacism survived however the Byzentine empire fell to the muslims

Just saying that if I have any kids with a muslim or a negro woman, they would all follow my culture.

A culture of hunting, fishing, going to school, being something...

Well that is how it's suppose to work in a westernized country, or any society. Maybe not the hunting, and fishing anymore, but following along, and trying to be something besides a bum.

What a horrible way to go. Can you imagine you are taking a crap in the bush, then you get attacked by a Crocodile and then have your demise sent all over the world to make it world famous ? The report says that he was washing his hands but how do they know that ? They didn't see it. If salt water makes these crocodiles blind then they must be a unique species to Sri Lanka as Sri Lanka hasn't been connected to the mainland since at least the ice age.

Sad, but gator gotta eat also. Just think before modern times when that was a norm for anyone around those waters.
I guess it would have helped him though if he knew better. Sorry for his families loss. :(

I would prefer if they just got to eat jihadists. There must be plenty of jihadists to keep all our crocs well fed. Perhaps we could convince them that they would get 73 virgins a bunch of boys and some sheep in paradise if they fed themselves to a croc.

I like that, they should do that for a better world, maybe the liberal socialist supporting them should do that also since they are the reason for them being here raping our civilization to death.

There are signs on the roads around where I currently am warning that there are cougars and their cubs about. I have heard "once a maneater always a maneater" regarding bears, wolverines cougars etc...

Cougar Kills US Mountain Biker, Mauls Another, Later Shot

A mountain lion killed one mountain biker and mauled another in Washington state on Saturday when they rode into its territory, and authorities later shot the animal dead, police said.

The mountain bikers were riding together down a remote, backwoods trail at 11 a.m. local time in an area near North Bend, Washington state, around 30 miles east of Seattle, when the two men encountered the animal.

In the ensuing attack, the first rider received deep scratches and the other was dragged away by the cougar to its den, King County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sergeant Ryan Abbot said.

The 31-year-old survivor rode two miles out of the area and called 911.

Police drove up the trail, found the victim’s bike and went into the woods where they came across the cougar standing over the victim’s body, Abbott said.

“He or she, I don’t know if the cougar was a male or female, had the body of the victim down in his den,” said Ryan.

A deputy took a shot at the animal, sending it fleeing into the woods. Officers of the Washington Department of Fish and Game tracked the cat with dogs and killed it, Abbott said.

The survivor was taken to hospital in Seattle with serious but none-life-threatening injuries, he said.

Fatal cougar attacks are extremely rare in North America, with only about two dozen recorded in the last 100 years, most of them involving children.

It was only the second deadly attack by a mountain lion in Washington State in the last 100 years, Abbott said.

Cougars are the fourth largest cat species worldwide, with adult females weighing up to 141 pounds and males weighing as much as 220 pounds. They attack prey by ambush and usually attack humans only if cornered.

On Mount Kinabalu there must have been many of these snakes. It may be very dangerous to get lost in the forests of southeast Asia. I was warned on Mindoro Island that there are many big snakes in the mountains where the Mangyans live and this is why my friends have never hiked on those mountains.

Indonesian woman dies after being swallowed whole by a python

An Indonesian mother has died after being swallowed whole by a 23-foot-long python.

The woman, Wa Tiba, 54, went missing while tending to her vegetable garden near her village on Muna Island in Southeast Sulawesi province on Thursday, according to the village chief, Faris.

When her family went to look for her, they found only her belongings in the garden, including her sandals, a machete and a flashlight.

The village subsequently launched a search for her but were horrified to find the python with a severely bloated belly just 50 yards from the garden.

SNAKE IN CAR VENT SPOOKS VIRGINIA WOMAN

Faris said the villagers killed the snake and when they cut open its belly, they found the woman's body still intact wearing all her clothes.

Local police chief Hamka, who only has one name like many Indonesians, said: “Residents were suspicious the snake swallowed the victim, so they killed it, then carried it out of the garden.

“The snake’s belly was cut open and the body of the victim was found inside.”

Local villager Ayu Kartika said: "Everyone cried and was in shock. That poor woman. It looked like a horror movie. The people are terrified, afraid to go outside.”

My dad when in Vietnam saw snakes that where close to waist high, and took a long while to cross the roads. My guess that might be a little exaggeration, but I know he saw huge ones that could eat about any human.

Though it's nice to see these poachers get what they deserve I do believe that these lions now will be hunting people. I heard that the natives used to say "once a maneater always a maneater". Far from a paradise the natives had to deal with maneating bears, cougars and wolverines. Check out the video. Hopefully Africa willb e able to keep these amazing species from extinction.

Jungle Justice: South African Poachers Mauled, Eaten by Lions

At least three poachers broke into a rhinoceros reservation in South Africa recently on an illegal rhino hunting expedition, carrying enough food to last some time. Their journey was cut short, however, after the king of the jungle discovered their presence and administered some wild justice.

Staffers found some of the hunters' body parts, including a head and some limbs, at the Sibuya Game Reserve in Kenton-on-Sea in South Africa on Tuesday after they were eaten by a pride of lions.

The Sibuya Game Reserve is the most popular reserve in the Eastern Cape and is home to many of the planet's largest mammals, including elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions and leopards.

There could have been more remains, and indeed more hunters with the group, but the thickness of the brush makes it hard to know for sure. Nonetheless, a helicopter was called in to search for more casualties and none were discovered.

After the helicopter search was finished, a veterinarian tranquilised the pride so that police and workers at the reserve could recover the gruesome remains safely.

"The lions are our watchers and guardians and they picked the wrong pride and became a meal," said reservation owner Nick Fox. "Whilst we are saddened at any loss of life, the poachers came here to kill our animals and this sends out a very clear message to any other poachers that you will not always be the winner," he added according to a press release.

"We found enough body parts and three pairs of empty shoes, which suggest to us that the lions ate at least three of them," Fox said.

In the northern part of South Africa in February, a lion poacher was killed by a pride, which left only his head behind.

Workers at the reservation reportedly found high-powered rifles with silencers, an axe, small sidearms and wire cutters. The big guns are suspected to have been intended to shoot down rhinos without creating much noise, possibly to avoid detection. The axe is believed to be intended for cutting off rhino horns.

The identities of the poachers were impossible to determine from the remains. Their firearms were taken by police and will be "sent to the ballistics laboratory to see if they have been used in poaching before," according to police spokesperson Capt. Mali Govender, according to the New York Post.

The 30-square-mile reserve has been prey to illegal poachers in years past. In 2016, three rhinos were shot and had their horns cut off. Nine rhinos have been killed similarly in 2018 in South Africa's Eastern Cape, according to The Express.

Rhinoceroses live in parts of Asia and Africa, although very few live outside of sanctuaries, according to the World Wildlife Foundation. In Asia, two species are considered critically endangered while a third was upgraded from endangered to vulnerable.

In Africa the southern white rhino is near-threatened while the northern white rhino and western black rhino are extinct in the wild. The three remaining northern white rhinos are kept under 24-hour guard at a conservancy in Kenya.
