That threw me off, I was thinking what is a crocodile doing in Toronto.
I'm glad his friends was around, that could have been tragic.

Biting Fish Of Argentina
BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) - A swarm of biting fish injured more than 70 people who were bathing at a popular beach in Argentina on Christmas, a medical official said on Thursday.
A seven-year-old girl had her finger partially amputated and dozens more suffered bite wounds on their extremities from the fish, a relative of the piranha called "palometas," said Federico Cornier, the director of emergency services in the city of Rosario.
"This is not normal," Cornier said on television. "It's normal for there to be an isolated bite or injury, but the magnitude in this case was great ... this is an exceptional event."
The attack happened off the popular beaches of the Parana River near Rosario, 300 kilometres (186 miles) north of Buenos Aires, where many Argentines were seeking relief from a heat wave over the holiday.

I guess the fish wanted Christmas dinner also
Poor little girl, it's a shame someone didn't grab her up from the water away from that.

Tiger Doesn't Like Chinese Food
Apparently this tiger doesn't like Chinese food. He says it tastes good but doesn't stay with you very long

Re: Maneaters
Poor tiger, that man should be locked away for a long time.
If the tiger did eat him it likely would have been put down.

Tiger vs Fisherman
This is tragic. I imagine that they wil have to hunt this tiger down now as he may now like eating humans. I wonder if this is his first human meal ?

Re: Maneaters
Poor kids how horrible for them. I think if I lived around tigers like they do I would be more ready for something like that.
Maybe they get used to them so much they let their guard down.

Grizzly Kills Woman
I have wondered what a fear it would be to be hiking through a forest and come accross one of these monsters. I wouldn't want one chasing me around the house either of course.

Re: Maneaters
The scary part is you can shoot them in the heart, and they will still come after you.
I think you have to damage more than 25% to kill a grizzly.
Also who can hit one in the heart if caught off guard.
i like that cabin on that page.

Re: Maneaters
I have watched a couple of documentaries and it seems to some experts that animal attacks are increasing. I have heard that the increased cell phones may be partly responsible for some reason. There was a cougar attack in Cranbrook BC a few years ago. One documentary that I watched the other day said that all the tigers in one large tiger reserve are maneaters after scavenging on bodies after the boxing day tsunami in 2003.

Re: Maneaters
We had a cougar killed here a month or so ago, very sad since it was not harming anything.
A game warden should have been fired, he did it just to look macho in my opinion .
That shark attack, sorry to the family, and friends, but it is the sharks yard.
