I was also able to resolve my issue by unchecking the "Extra Web Security" box within my Dreamhost hosting account.

Ummm... extra web security gets you banned at the sites you visit? Never heard that kind of security.... no wonder that is Dreamhost I have heard some funny stories about dreamhost, Guardian now proved it

Blue, I will find that Dalvik signature and PM you. It is in one of the email. Also you need to delete three files in zbblock/vault ipddb.csv, ippddb.csv and ippddb.txt. These files still contain Guardian blocked ip ranges. Delete the files, zbblock will regenerate them. It will not affect your security. Each time, you add a bypass for someone, you will need to delete these three files to reset the block for which you allowed bypass.

Found the message from Zaphad about Android access getting banned
Dalvik is a VM for Android, and thus is real. Below is a copy of message from him This is a fairly old signature, from an infusion of new user-agents that was quite large.

This signature will be deactivated in 71 final. Edit signature.inc and add // before the following line:

Thanks Sid that wasn't needed apparently, those files I deleted must have opened the door for him.
Ill have to remember those, it may come into use later on.

It is better to comment out the signature which causes troubles for Android phone users. Others may have problems in future. The signature is wrong as Zaphad wrote and suggested to remove it. It will be deleted in the next release of zbblock.

I still haven't signed up over there, but I will sometime soon .
I can see the good it can do, and soon as I learn to add IPs Ill ban more bots.
I think it got the majority of them I was having, it was the same as those on here, and Memebee. I got them being my forum is listed on here.

If you want to ban an IP block use following signature in customsig.inc, replace IP block with the one you want to ban and replace IOMart with the domain name.

Did you add the customsig.inc entries I posted other day? It should take care of most of the bots which were not covered in signature.inc.

Hey, Happy Halloween !

Yeah I added the whole script, must have been what got GF kicked off maybe.
Last night after getting those files deleted I got a lot of bots hitting me from everywhere .
I hope the files are getting them again, not checked .
It's amazing how many there are to deal with, I doubt you can ever keep up on them.

Well hope all is well, gotta hand out candy this evening,

deleting those two cvs and one txt file should not let bots come in. It will reset the IP band but the bots which were banned previously, will get have their IP relisted in those three file. Only thing it does, you will see the ban entries again for those bots. However, they cannot get in.
