They went all over the place, and the museums I gathered from they stayed sometimes for days. It's been years, and my ip is different, but with the same company.
I will join it either today or tomorrow. Photography and video is my hobby too. I had not done photography since almost 3 years. I used to like wild life photography. I sat for several hours in forests to get one good shot some bird or animal. My collection is on my old PC which is sitting in my basement. I always plan to recover data from it next week, but that week had not arrived since past 4 years - lol.
Not all bots get banned, unless several people report. Museums usually do not monitor their sites. Mostly private sites are monitored and they report. You can get banned if someone had a trap on their sites for bots. All of my sites had two traps, one is invisible form which only spam bots can see, the moment spam bot try to fill that hidden comment form, it lands on honeypotproject.org registration web and get blacklisted in their database. Also, all of my web sites have a very tiny icon in footer "Spam Catcher" if a bot click on it, it lands on a trap comments form on spamhouse.org and get blacklisted.
