Adds would be alright if not intrusive to the forum I think, the way most are though they are a nuisance. Brings in revenue though and that's what you need and want right ?

hmm. true. mind you the amount you make is really just to cover the cost of the hosting and then some. it would have been nice if it could cover the cost of a designated server but that is considerably more money so maybe some time in the far future, if ever.
but they do potentially limit the direction you sometimes want to take - for example they have problem with graphic language some of which i'd like to be able to accommodate, not cuz i particularly love graphic language lol but because some people simply talk like that. anyway. food for thought for sure - if they were bringing more money then they would surely be worth more consideration.
