Please advice of an alernative program to Microsoft word/powerpoint/excel.
I came across this free Apache program but being a computer newbie i would like advice.

Hi Delta sorry for this late reply. The best free alternative to Microsoft Word/Excel is Microsoft's Skydrive. You'll have to login with your Microsoft/MSN account.

I like SKydrive because it's free and easy to use with nothing to install. All you need is your old msn messenger account.
Here is a list of free softwares. OpenOffice is a good alternative to Microsoft Office.
