i've been thinking the same thing but in nietzschean terms. all that i think is not all that i am. there are competing subconscious drives (wills!) underneath the surface of my thoughts. subconscious drives running their own routines from a playbook of their own design. who am i? (i am my teacher's student)

I like to think I'm a result of organic propulsion guided by artificial intelligence.

My momentary existence is as happenstance as a burning ember in a forest fire.

let's hope you never have unseemly hours plugged into this app.
Each day, Design Home users are presented with a few empty rooms that they are responsible for virtually furnishing. They choose one, fill it with furniture, submit the design to be rated by other users, and then move on to the next one. The guidelines for how to furnish these rooms—referred to as “challenges”—are written like HGTV erotica, or the plot of your favorite Property Brothers episode with a few influencer-esque details. “To create the iconic look from her favorite part of the world, this travel writer started with white walls and dark wood beams,” reads one recent prompt. “Next step is adding warm colorful decor. Furnish a Mediterranean-style living room for a travel writer’s home in Alexandria, Virginia.”

What's happening?

Image

Reruns of rerun. Dee's knocked up and Rog is on crack again,

Dwayne came to bring the pain, but Nadine hasn't been seen since 2013.

Meanwhile Shirley's getting girly with a skirt and a new do... and I'm twiddling my thumbs because I forgot what I wanted to do to you.
