Since we are going back in time, I thought I'd go back to age 9.
I wouldn't want to play Doctor with Blurt, though.

I seem to remember Canada used to be more family oriented & was run by and for straight people.

There were no overt displays of homosexuality or transgenderism. Hard drugs were not evident.

People & society seemed a lot more normal back then.

It was better & a much more stable society to be quite frank.

I get the sense, that you believe that homosexuality didn't exsist back then. Well...it did. But they had to live a life that wasn't their own. How tragic, to think that people couldn't just be who they were, without the threat of being ostrasized.
It'd be like someone shaving your head, and making you live your life as a bald man. Can you even imagine ?

Frankly you need a shock to your system from time to time, mimi.

You’re often too smug in your self righteousness.

There's so very little that would shock me anymore, Joe. But I suspect a few jolts wouldn't hurt you none. =)))

Another ad hom for no reason by joe, the cretin. In his next post he will state that Mimi now has a meltdown while he was just making a lighthearted joke.

Absolutely true.

But tapes still exist today. Just bought half a dozen some months ago.

Lite-Brite still exists, too, Asal.

It's when the stuff of our youth has gone the way of the dodo that thoughts of incipient senior citizenship encroach. Well, for me, anyway.

When men learn to abuse the concept of intuitive insight, they become the pinnacle of reason, useless Gods are created in his image as a scapegoat for his shortcomings, and all he selectively oversees are his playthings... and ultimately, all he creates in his stead becomes his willful undoing.

That guy who created the sea monkey enterprise made a fortune. They were just natural shrimp like things. He had a plethora of toy patents as well.
