I decided to start collecting Canadian Coins again...

Unread post by J0E »

....and pick up where I left off from childhood.

Canafian coins imho were some of the most beautiful coins ever produced in the history of coinage, anywhere, anytime & worldwide. They are superior to their American counterparts, even tho the latter are often worth several times more.

I don't care if they increase in value or not. Or whether they have any value. I just see them as keepsakes.

If they happen to be extremely valuable one day, thats a bonus. But if not no worries.

Anyways, it just adds to the pile of things I collect such as old comic books, early edition Canadian hockey cards, French art, antique jewelry, vintage Playboy/Penthouse Magazines & First edition books.

I'm planning to visit Europe in the near future and acquire REAL antiques & vintage art.

Nah the have no value Blurt - unless they were owned & signed by a famous person, eh? Gotta be certified by a grading agency too.

But I bought some French art that I got from antique sellers in Montreal. Tharz a treasure trove of nice old antiques there.

I'd like to acquire some antiques from the Old North American Empire which was known as 'New France', eh Blurt?

Only the really Old Rare stuff mimi.

I have pennies/one cent pieces over 100 years old.

Back then they were the size of today's loonie. made our of solid 100% ..and they probably bought as much too.
