Oh, I know.

I would stick to one and refrain from changing it again,. but it has to be adopted widely. On a continent level at least

We have a circardian rhythm, like all other living beings. We are not chopped liver!!

My circardian rhythm doesn't seem to notice. =)))

I don't care one way or the other. I've never felt put out in either spring or fall....well...except for the nuisance of resetting all the clocks. =))))

Mine does notice:( I was never a morning person but waking up into pitch dark is near torture for me. I am really sad if this is what we will be forced to endure.

We changed our clocks last weekend, it now goes dark around 5pm. Hibernation time methinks.

We are changing this weekend too this is a legislation to be implemented next time we are to switch? Either way, dark at the end of the day doesn’t affect us as much, it just makes us need to go sleep earlier in the day, which is only natural, we have control over it. At least kids and majority of ppl have, those who work 9-5. It’s the morning dark that we cannot shake off by sleeping longer.

There is a reason standard time is positioned the way it is - it’s based on having a noon when the sun is at the highest point in the sky for each time zone. That position of the sun defined 9-5 and not 10-6 or 8-4 as the most common office hours. Not anymore in bc. Unless California decides to go standard time, then maybe bc and the rest of the west coast will reconsider. Time will tell.

And get this, this will mostly affect school children who will now have to go to school in the dark in winter. Which is for Canada most of the year. Grownups may be able to suck it up to their detriment, esp if they have flexible hours, but why??
