How happy are you after you give yourself a pedicure?

I’m super happy:) not only because my toes look pretty but because of that stretching that comes from being in that deep bent position for a prolonged time.

It makes me feel so yin.. or something.

What say you? What makes you feel yin?

Ha! I enjoyed nail salons for a short while but have since grown so tired from listening to Vietnamese or Chinese or another Asian ethnicity chatter in their language and effectively treat me like a leg with toes and not like a person. I find that so annoying and disrespectful and I’ve encountered that behaviour in 2-3 different salons. So since then I just do my own pedicures like before nail salons started popping up like mushrooms after rain.

I don’t believe that. You must have cut your own toenails and gave your feet a massage a multitude of times. You just maybe don’t refer to it as giving yourself a pedi.

Having your feets all buffed and shined, moisturized and soft, trimmed and painted....makes you feel rejuvenated all over.

I've never had a professional pedi. I'm ok looking after my own feets. =)

Nah. I didn’t put any polish. I can’t show up in public without a nail polish. It would feel like walking around naked. And I really dislike it when I see other women’s toes without any polish, even if it’s just a clear coat. I didn’t always feel this way. Maybe it will go away.

I just keep my toes trimmed and soak my feet in Epsom salts three or four times a week then rub a pumice stone on them. If they're looking dry, I'll rub some oil into them.

I used the stone every day in the shower.
