Isn't Breitbart the right wing version of Huffington Post? I seem to remember getting that impression the few occasions I visited there... kind of like filler for people who don't like to think too hard.

I felt like an Egyptian archaelogist without a Rosetta stone.

I guess I'm just not a native Cons speaker.
You'd have to at least possess some Libertarian or Voluntaryist tendencies to navigate through it...

....maybe the Drudge Report is more your speed?

Truth is, Dinkies, I'm just not that kind of political animal.

I mean, I try to remain aware of political and social developments, at least to the extent that I won't be completely lost at the water cooler, and I do examine what various parties and/or candidates have laid out on the campaign platform buffet table, and I do go out and vote, but that's sort of the extent of my involvement in that aspect of politics. Once, I was even asked to run by politician friends and my answer was a resounding no. Just not my scene.

On the other hand, I love politics considered as a branch of philosophy. How people envision their best possible world and how they try to either cooperate or fend each other off when it comes to how the polis can best be governed is endlessly fascinating to me.

I don't ever feel powerless--socially or politically--because I've learned to focus my thoughts and actions on a more local scale, from the personal to the municipal. And I'm all right with that.

Fuck you are stupid

I'm saying the left along with the anarchists (1 and the same in effect because the left condones the anarchists by saying and doing nothing)

may rule the country very soon

and pleasing anarchists = straight into oblivion
The cool thing about the people you hate is they will be voting on 11/3. Then you can wail like your pal Herman.
