The Republican Party is going to implode. T is destroying it. They are going to have to pick up the pieces and start all over again. The GOP has lost its way some time ago.
There may be a new party in the making.
Perhaps the Democrats will become the New Right, and the new party will become the New Left.

Well EL, I think Trump should be impeached principally because he organized a rally which got out of hand.....

....because he didn't SHOW UP!

So whether Trump was responsible for the violence is one issue, but the reason it got out of hand is another.

Bugger could havet just gone over to Capitol Hill, calmed his protesters down.
It was that fucking easy to avoid a catastrophe.
Simply by not being present, his followers had no clue what to do. They had no direction.
That's not leadership.

It's the same idea as hosting a party at your neighbors home, inviting 100 people, and the place gets ransacked and vandalzied because the host didn't show up to direct its guests.
Or going into battle with an army, but then not showing up in battle. Identifying one's leader and then...failing to LEAD!

So...just for failing to showing leadership and failing to take responsibility for the rally, alone, Trump should be impeached.
Whether he intended it to be peaceful or not is besides the point. He failed to show up and that's why the rally got out of hand.

The mob violence is a separate issue, but Trump's indiffference and buggering off to Mar de Lago to play golf is another.
He was totally irresponsible like a teenager who hosts a frat party which gets outta control.
Trump has failed to take responsibility for something which he was entirely responsible for.
