Nope, I wouldn't say a broken heart. More like "possessed by the soul of Icarus"... here is a being who aspires to the same heights as Icarus did, nearer to the light and to the heat, but is ambivalent about the endeavour because it requires that this being allow itself to be wrenched from all that it loves that remains grounded in the soil that remains its true birthplace.

The ground is illustrated as that place where every man is an island and the dark bird of prey represents the spiritual perils of the journey out of darkness.

Sonny, its really what you make it. For me, its what I saw when I listened to a certain song. Yes, I'm slightly disturbed, but they say all great? artists are? Lol aspire to be one.
