Thief in my yard today

Unread post by mimi »

:scared:

I've been out raking leaves the last few days...(since I refuse to pay someone $700 to do it).
I came inside for a brief rest this afternoon, and while I was sitting there, I heard a thump against the house. When I looked out the window....there was a bear draining the hummingbird feeder.

Now I'm a wee bit nervous to go out and continue the job tomorrow. =(

That's got to be a record. 4 errors in a 9 word sentence. :D

Surrounded by people... And yet... So alone..

Canadian Beckys heart leaped when she heard Mr. Bear thumping near her feeder..

Who is this Mr. Bear... He is a mystery..

Becky cant wait for him to come visit again...

Thats all Becky thinks about.

You should invest in some more cats.

A thief in your yard is better than a tard in your yhief.

Get yourself a real man...

He will know what to do with the bear.

Mimi’s a crazy cat lady, she ain’t got no man, that’s why she throws herself at Blurtrude all the time.

Although in all honesty, I think Mimi would fair a lot better in a life or death situation with a wild animal than Blurt, he would just hitch up his skirt, bend over and prepare himself for some violent penetration in an attempt to defuse the situation.

Hire the bear.

Then hire Joe to manage the bear.

Just run over the leaves with a mulching mower. The mower noise will keep the bear away, and its easier than raking

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Please give my regards to the usual suspects. Especially to the former crew at the Vortex. And Kat.

A few of us from the Vortex are over at Jag's place. Like Sherbert, Boo and Lioness, but the latter two hardly ever post these days. Kat is somewhat MIA too, I think shes mostly playing WoW in her spare time :D

My hobby lately has been learning to play the fiddle.

Where you live that have bears? Don't you have any younger people to help you rake the leaves?

We must, dear TeeWee....but they all want massive bucks in amounts that I'm not willing to pay.
6, 7, 8 hundred bucks to rake leaves is just too much. It IS a MASSIVE job....I get that....but it's a job that I CAN do myself....I just don't want to. :D

I use my lawnmower to collect all the leaves.
