I was on FB last night and some people were getting upset because I said I'm voting for Pierre. They told me I've fallen his trap...when I asked what trap...no one would tell me.

Then they proceeded to tell me what kind of a person someone was just by looking at their profile. They can see the gender hate, climate deniers, etc etc. And that the Liberal party is not far left but right in the middle to right...conservatives were far right and dangerous. A while bunch of shit that Pierre is a Trump and everything related to him is from fox News.

I had a good chuckle. But t's scary to think that these people will still vote for JT just to "keep their rights"...what rights?? He's taking them all away. JT doesn't want to build roads anymore. There's a version of private. Different provinces have different health practices.

We all live on the border of the U.S.. If I want to, I can cross the border to see a specialist or whatever. I never have - except once when I made a mistake during covid testing and needed to sign up at an American clinic to get tested to prove I don't have covid to return home. So, covid testing a few times is my only American healthcare experience. Paying for healthcare - in the U.S. I had to pay the clinic to be a client and for the one visit, was odd, but okay - they gave me the treatment I asked for.

When Harper was the Prime Minister - healthcare was slashed. I remember that I needed to go to the hospital when the slashing was announced and the hospital staff were devastated and angry.

Healthcare needs to be better funded. Especially as the population of Canada is skyrocketing and being encouraged to skyrocket beyond our capacity - and so many new immigrants are senior aged.
