Raninen died at his home in a fire which occurred in Tuusula. The matter was first reported by YLE.

Small block of flats Station Raitilla fire started from a passer-by spotted a half after six in the evening. After detecting the ground floor of a dwelling in the smoke, he alerted rescue services.

Firefighters arrived on the scene about 10 minutes after the alarm and broke into the apartment. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Other residents of the house had left the building independently before the rescue service income. Outbreaks are investigated.

Raninen became public in the 1960s. He was a major influence in the Finnish entertainment and pop music.

Raninen was involved in several TV shows, such as the weird, and I called the fire brigade expenditure. He composed a number of television commercials, starred in mm. revyissä in the movie of my youth and logging sites. Raninen came to be known also as a singer. He recorded more than 40 songs, of which the most famous is probably the moment.
