Biweekly Art challenge~ Flowers

Unread post by InkedAngel »

Lets continue the art challenge for those who would like to participate with a one week extension. This makes it easier for other who would like to but have less time.

Since Spring is in the air, this biweekly art challenge is flowers. You can post any medium. Your own photography, sketch, painting, pencil. It must be your own work. This challenge will run through Saturday, April 25th.
We look forward to seeing what you do! :)

The flowers are nice, but not too fond of the checkers in the background.

I think a more delicate color/texture would've been more appropriate.

Black on pink looks somewhat harsh. but that's just my opinion.

It's the checkers I wanted. It's not art work...it's a piece of eclectic furniture, for my outside deck. I think of it as more like doodling. I would never hang anything that hideous on my wall. It looks the way I wanted it to look for the purpose I wanted.

Appropriate for what?

they complement the flowers perfectly. the background joe is proposing is nice, but it would make the table look too bland. jmo joe!

I made black framed panels out of wood and cheap vapour barrier to protect from coolish evening breezes in the summer and to insulate the deck in fall and winter. So, cheap vapour barrier looked cheap =)))))....so I made a stencil of a damask pattern and stenciled it on. The top panels are clear, and I remove them in the summer and put back up in the fall. :D
