If the house or structure is impermanent,
no permits are necessary and building codes can be ignored.
They can build and live in a treehouse, a Teepee or a mobile home if they wish.
Wanting the same as others but not willing to pay the cost to obtain it like the others did.
A couple of low-lifes trying to get away with free living :thumbdown: .

All permanent structures on crown land require permits to build,
and the entirety of Canada is crown land (minus the reservations).

The house in the video doesn't look like it can be towed or taken anywhere, therefore is permanent.
The house is fine up until a wiring short burns the place down killing all occupants and the the district gets sued for millions by the families for letting the couple live in a residence not up to code.

The case has been using up tax-payer money for too long and the law applies to all equally; these cheapskates need to smarten up.
