Yesterday was Record Store Day. I didn't have to work but I was still awake early. So I got stupid and went downtown and got in line by 5:15. There were about 20 people already in line waiting for Tom to open at 6:00. I got 2 of 4 that I wanted. Someone(s) got to Little Feat before I could and Tom didn't even bother to have the 50th anniversary edition of Shotgun Willie. I thought the Bill Evans album was something I'd like to listen to.

Thanks for the heads up sadly that date won't work for me. I would suggest though that anyone here that has time open, go and see one of greats. Even if you're not a big fan of blues, rock or country you're seeing a very skilled player who has shared the stage with just about anyone you can name. Seeing him up close, not from somewhere in the nosebleed seats of a stadium.
