I've never paid much attention to calls made to my cell, since it's not a number I use.
But tonight I noticed the caller ID display said...Likely Fraud. How long has this been around ?

Well, as I said, I don't even bother looking when I get a call...PLUS, hub...who lives on his phone, saw it for the first time tonight...so there's that.

Oh...and also, I was just reading, that it depends on your provider...and has only functioned on ours since late August. That doesn't seem like forever to me.

Maybe Australia and Canada are different due to the geographical positions as related to SE Asia, but that shit has been going on for 15 years or better here.

I recently upgraded phones and accidentally unblocked many hundreds of such numbers, then had to start reblocking anything that even smelled like a spoofed number out of Sydney or Melbourne.
