The only one I know off the top of my head is ......manna, the heavenly rations God rained on his chosen people to keep them alive.

One I would guess at is the God can change His/Her mind and does so several times in the Old Testament where assured destruction as punishment for human sin is mitigated to partial destruction. In Genesis after Adam and Eve eat from the forbidden tree they are evicted from Eden rather than killed. In the story of Noah the protagonist's righteous life staves off total destruction for his family and a bunch of animals as well.

Many unbelievers laugh at this story, esp about the animal part. How did all the animals come to the Ark? It's because God told them too.
God talks to animals too. Kinda like the talking Donkey is Numbers 22:28...the donkey saw the angel but Balaam didn't. This passage/story sometimes makes me think the donkey saw the cherubim with the flaming sword at the garden of eden and was trying to protect Balaam from getting killed.

But do remember that manna is not actually bread. It was a substance used in making a bread or cracker.
