Ya...that's the one. So you can change a word that's already played. You could change F E L L, into B E L L. And if you add a vertical word using the B, you get double points. Haven't played in a long while.
A long time ago, my cat stole a couple letters, but I found a game at the thrift, for 99 cents. It was taped up, but for 99 cents it was well worth the gamble. Low and behold, the game was complete EXCEPT for the 2 letters I was missing.

me and the grandkids save pieces, boards and cards from "other" games.... then when we're bored we try to make new games with the discarded pieces for shits and giggles....
